Dingleburn Station

Lake Hāwea · 1490 Dingle Burn Station Road, Lake Hawea, Wanaka, New Zealand

Dingleburn Station is a working high-country sheep and beef station at the head of Lake Hawea in Central Otago, run by the Rowley family. The property runs from lake edge to the alpine tops and backs onto the South Westland boundary, with a DOC hunting concession covering Twizel, Central Otago and South Westland.

Guests come for private-track walks, fishing the rivers running off the tops, and to take part in station work like mustering. Hunting on the concession covers red deer, tahr and chamois country in the back blocks; the operator's site frames the station-stay rather than packaged hunts.

No public pricing — trips are arranged direct with the station.
