Glentanner Park Centre

Glentanner Park Centre is a 10,000-acre working merino station and holiday park on the shores of Lake Pukaki, about 18 km from Aoraki/Mt Cook National Park. The DOC concession covers a long list of activities — 4WD, camping, helicopter landings, heli-skiing, hunting and more — across the Twizel district.
For hunters, the station is best known as tahr country, sitting under the bluffs of the Ben Ohau range with chamois also taken on the tops. Glentanner is not a packaged hunting outfit in the trophy-lodge sense; hunters use the park as a base, secure DOC permits separately and arrange access to surrounding public land.
Accommodation ranges from tent sites to self-contained cabins. Helicopter charter is available on site.
