Fraser Safaris New Zealand
Geraldine · 34 Poole Road, RD 21, Woodbury, Geraldine 7991, New Zealand
Fraser Safaris operates from the 11,000 sq ft Woodbury Safari Lodge near Geraldine in South Canterbury, with access to over 55,000 acres of private hunting country plus a government concession on adjoining public land. The home country sits in classic red stag, tahr, fallow and chamois country at the eastern foot of the Southern Alps.
The species board is unusually broad - alongside the four main South Island trophies the operation runs elk, sika, sambar, rusa, Arapawa ram, alpine goat, wallaby, possum and boar, with water buffalo and banteng also offered. Hunts are foot-based out of the lodge, with mountain camps used for tahr and chamois country. Rifle, archery and black powder hunters are all accommodated, and the lodge handles airport pickup from Christchurch, trophy preparation and export.
Pricing is referenced as a separate 2026/2027 schedule that isn't displayed on the main pages; rates are issued on enquiry. Two addresses are published - a Geraldine PO box and the Woodbury lodge street address.
