Alps Outfitters is Adam Hill's Queenstown-based big-game hunting operation, running guided hunts across multiple locations in the South Island. The outfit offers both free-range wilderness hunts and estate trophy hunts, targeting red deer, fallow deer, elk, tahr, chamois and Arapawa ram across country ranging from the Gibbston Valley's private estates through to the open tussock and alpine terrain of the Southern Alps.

Adam runs drop-camp options for experienced hunters who want to access remote country independently after being flown or driven to a starting point, in addition to the fully guided packages. The Queenstown base makes Alps Outfitters convenient for international hunters who arrive via Queenstown International Airport, avoiding the Christchurch-then-drive routing required by many other South Island operations.
