Geraldine
Monarch Pursuits is a Canterbury and Southern Alps hunting and adventure operation, with lodges at Fiery Peak Station and Kakahu Lodge near Geraldine. The species offered are red stag, bull tahr, fallow buck, Arapawa ram, elk and chamois.
Red stag hunts are priced in USD by SCI class, from US$10,000 for 361-400 SCI up to 601+ on application. Tahr, elk, fallow and ram can be added to a stag package, and a five-animal Mega Hunt is US$30,000. Bull tahr can be hunted with helicopter access, charged at US$1,500-$3,000 per hour on top of the hunt price.
Monarch also quotes in Australian and US enquiry lines alongside New Zealand contacts, so it is set up for international clients.
