Monarch Pursuits
Geraldine
Monarch Pursuits is a Canterbury / Southern Alps operation centred on Fiery Peak Station for red stag hunts, with chamois worked off helicopters into the alpine and bull tahr hunts via 4x4 access. The species mix covers red stag, bull tahr, fallow buck, Arapawa ram, chamois and elk.
Red stag pricing is graded by SCI class from US$7,500 (to 360") through to US$50,000+ (over 651"), all in USD and bundled with lodging, meals, guide, rifle/ammo and airport transfers. Tahr can be hunted either on foot or with a separate hourly helicopter fee. The Mega Hunt combo package covers five animals — stag, elk, ram, fallow and tahr — for US$30,000.
Accommodation includes overnight huts and spike camps in the backcountry alongside the main lodge, so itineraries can scale from a single-species stag week to a multi-day alpine combo. Suited to hunters chasing larger trophy red stags backed by a clear SCI-graded price ladder.
