New Zealand Safaris
Fairlie
New Zealand Safaris is a Fairlie-based operation in South Canterbury covering thousands of acres of private high-country land. The species menu is unusually broad — red stag, tahr, chamois, elk, fallow, sika, rusa, white-tail, sambar, banteng, water buffalo, white stag, alpine goat, Arapawa ram and wild boar — making it a one-stop option for hunters chasing exotic species combinations not commonly held on other estates.
Hunts work out of the All Seasons Lodge, with most hunting properties 5-30 minutes from base. Access methods include foot stalking, ATV and 4x4. The operation runs individual hunting parties rather than mixed groups, with fly fishing and wing shooting available as add-ons.
Prices are not published on the site and are quoted per booking via the enquiry form. Both NZ and US phone contacts are listed, so the operation is structured for international clients flying into either Christchurch or Queenstown.
