Wellington Region Fish and Game Council

The Wellington Region Fish and Game Council is the statutory body that manages sports fish and game bird resources across the wider Wellington region, from the Wairarapa and Kapiti coasts through to the Horowhenua. It is one of twelve regional councils that together make up Fish & Game New Zealand.

It is not a helicopter charter operator — it appears in the wider concessions dataset because of its administrative role. Its work covers selling whole-season and short-term fishing and game-bird licences, managing fish and game habitat, advocating for freshwater quality, and running compliance and ranger services for anglers and hunters in the region.
