Helicopters Nelson (Darling Helicopters) is a locally owned operator based at Nelson Airport with more than thirty years of experience flying the top of the South Island. Their pilots specialise in the Nelson, Tasman and Marlborough regions, including the three nearby National Parks of Abel Tasman, Nelson Lakes and Kahurangi.

The business spans tourism and commercial work. Scenic and adventure offerings include Lord of the Rings tours, national park flights, heli-fishing on the reef and in the backcountry, heli-hiking, heli-biking, wedding and family flights, and a Heli-Connect charter/transfer service. Commercial work covers lifting, construction, conservation support, farming, forestry and frost protection, alongside helicopter pilot training.
