Helihunt 'n' Fish Taupo Limited

Heli Hunt 'n' Fish Taupo is owned and operated by Phil Janssen, who has more than 30 years in the aviation industry. The operator runs a single Robinson R44 from a year-round base at 35 Tanga Road, Taumarunui, with a seasonal base at Rangitaiki during the March-April roar.

The company offers a full range of helicopter services including heli hunting and fishing flights into the Central North Island backcountry, charter work, agricultural and commercial operations, and pilot training from beginner through to commercial and agricultural ratings. Vehicle storage is available at the Taumarunui base.
