HeliServices.NZ is a locally owned helicopter operator on the South Island's West Coast, flying from three bases at Franz Josef, Fox Glacier and Haast. The company holds CAA AOC 88797, operates a fleet of turbine helicopters seating four to six passengers, and is the only locally owned operator licensed to land at designated sites inside Westland Tai Poutini National Park.
Most work is scenic flying over the glaciers, alpine ranges, waterfalls and West Coast coastline, with snow landings available year-round and trips extending to Milford Sound and Aoraki/Mt Cook. Charter work covers hunting drop-offs, fishing trips, weddings, corporate flights and filming, with remote departure points across the region.
