Wanaka Helicopters is a family-owned commercial helicopter operator and world-renowned flight training school based at Wanaka Airport on State Highway 6 between Wanaka and Queenstown. The fleet is positioned to access the Southern Alps, Mt Aspiring National Park and Fiordland.

The company offers scenic flights with alpine and glacier landings (including a Local Wanaka Experience landing on Mount Roy at 1200m), wedding and proposal flights with exclusive landing sites, private charters and hunting and fishing access across Central Otago, the Hooker/Landsborough Wilderness Area and Haast ballot blocks. Alongside tourism work the operator runs commercial helicopter services and an ab initio through to commercial helicopter pilot training programme.
