Rangitikei Helicopters was founded in 1998 by Simon Werthmuller and is based at Rewa in the Rangitikei/Manawatu region of the lower North Island. Originally an agricultural single-helicopter operation, the company diversified into commercial air transport from 2002 and now operates three helicopters.
