Heli Charter Nelson operates turbine helicopters from a base at 210 Eves Valley Road, Brightwater, in the Top of the South. The company is led by chief pilot Matt Gibb, is CAA licensed for passenger operations and holds Department of Conservation concessions for the Nelson, Marlborough and West Coast areas, including three national parks.
Aircraft carry up to six passengers or 1,000 kg of cargo and the operator covers mountain landings, hunting and fishing charters, remote-area access, commercial transport, and agricultural, horticultural and forestry support. Scenic flights and heli-biking trips are also offered across the Nelson-Marlborough region.
