Anderson Helicopters Limited

Anderson Helicopters is a locally owned West Coast helicopter company established in June 1989. The main base is at Hokitika Airport with a satellite base near Greymouth, and the fleet runs 4- and 6-passenger machines with lift capacity up to 1,250 kg. Pilots are described as carrying a minimum of 5,000 flight hours each.

The company works across the South Island with a particular focus on the rugged West Coast, mixing scenic flights and backcountry tourist work with precision lifting into the Southern Alps. It also handles tramper extraction, backcountry hunting trips, agricultural work, wedding guest flights and construction site lifting.
