Knights Point Air Limited

Knights Point Air is a family-owned aviation business based at Haast on the West Coast, operating fixed-wing aircraft (not helicopters) into the South Westland World Heritage Area covering Mt Aspiring, Aoraki Mt Cook and Fiordland National Parks. The owner/operator is Blair Hoult, who pairs commercial flying with 15 years' experience as a DOC wildlife ranger in the region.

The business uses historical hunting and mining airstrips to provide affordable backcountry transport for hunting (particularly for red deer in the Haast forests), fishing, tramping, food drops and backcountry surfing, alongside scenic flights and wildlife surveying. The company also runs charter trips with a DOC ranger on kiwi conservation missions.
