Heli Sika Limited

Helisika is a Central North Island helicopter operator with more than 30 years of experience, based at Poronui Station roughly 35 minutes from Taupo. The site is on the original release location of the sika deer introduced in 1905, and the company operates from three locations with a fleet of helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft.

They provide access to more than 40 private sika deer hunting blocks in the Kaimanawa and Kaweka ranges, fly fishing flights to backcountry rivers, scenic flights over the volcanic plateau and lakes, private charters and transfers, and heli-biking on the Kaimanawa Descent trail. Remote luxury cabin stays and agricultural work round out their operation.
