Southern Lakes Heliski has been running heli-ski operations since 1985, giving it around 40 years of heritage in the Southern Lakes. The business is based across Queenstown and Wānaka and flies helicopters in partnership with Alpine Helicopters.

Its terrain spans 17 mountain ranges across the Southern Alps and the company offers three core product lines: shared Daily Runs packages of 4, 6 or 8 runs for mixed-ability groups, Private Charters with terrain matched to client ability, and Premium Charters including glacier skiing at Aoraki / Mount Cook via Ski the Tasman and lodge-based packages at Minaret Station. Avalanche airbags are issued as standard.
