Heletranz operates what it describes as New Zealand's largest helicopter fleet, flying from a base at Albany on Auckland's North Shore with more than 30 years of operating history. It is the only helicopter operator in the country with in-house engineering staff maintaining its own aircraft.

The company offers scenic flights, day trips, overnight packages and charters across the North Island, from the Bay of Islands down to Taupo. Products include vineyard lunches on Waiheke, heli-fishing, heli-golf, aerial filming and photography, corporate transport, airport transfers and bespoke itineraries combining activities like ziplining, archery and shooting.
