Golden Del Orchard Limited is a long-established Hawke's Bay fruit-growing company (incorporated 1969) with its registered office care of Nexia Hawke's Bay at 308 Queen Street East, Hastings. The company is controlled by the Taylor family of Napier, with director Kelvin Graham Taylor and multiple family shareholders.

The DOC helicopter-landings concession covering parts of the Hawke's Bay and Turangi districts is incidental to the orchard business — most likely held to allow helicopter access to a privately owned high-country block or for incidental flying onto the orchard. It is not a commercial helicopter operator and does not sell hunting transfers or scenic flights.
