Littleworths Conservation Area
Littleworths Conservation Area is a small 259-hectare block in the Gisborne / Raukumara permit area, on the East Coast hill country east of the main Raukumara Range. Elevations run from 161 m to 719 m with a median of 361 m, so this is lowland and foothill country rather than tops hunting.
The block faces predominantly south-east, with east and south aspects also well represented. Expect bush-clad gullies and rolling ridges typical of the East Coast back country.
The block carries red deer, wild goat and wild pig, giving hunters three quarry species in a compact piece of country close to the coast.
