The block is bush-covered ground in the western Bay of Plenty hill country. Slopes lean north on the dominant aspect, giving warm faces and an even spread of shaded sidles to fall back on when the wind turns.
Game on the permit includes red deer, wild goat and wild pig. At this size Waitioka Stream is a day-hunt option rather than a destination block.
