Totara Peak Scenic Reserve is a small 102 ha block in the Auckland region's northern hill country. Elevations run from 153 m up to 329 m with a tightly clustered median of 271 m, placing the whole reserve on a high-shouldered foothill knob below the bushline.
Aspect leans south-east, with around 30% of the block facing that direction and notable shares to the south and west. The block carries regenerating bush typical of northern Auckland's reserves.
Wild goat is the only listed species.
